Member Check-In Policy Update
Member Check-In Policy Update – Effective September 8, 2025
To ensure the safety, security, and accuracy of our check-in process, we are updating our policy regarding membership access:
- We will no longer accept photos or screenshots of membership barcodes.
- Members must use their physical membership card, key tag, or the official Family Wellness mobile app to check in.

The card scanner will now be located behind the front desk. Members will be asked to hand their card or phone to staff at check-in so it can be scanned on their behalf.
Due to this policy change, if your membership card has been lost, we will happily reprint it at no cost. A digital version of your card is always available in the Family Wellness mobile app, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store by searching “Family Wellness Fargo.”
This change is being made to:
- Protect member security – Photos can easily be shared or duplicated, which could allow non-members to access the facility.
- Ensure accurate usage tracking – Proper check-in helps us keep accurate records of facility usage and class participation.

Maintain a safe environment – Verifying valid membership at check-in helps ensure only active members are using the facility.
