Yoga Nidra Workshop (Live or Virtual) GHD

In a world of chronic exhaustion and over stimulation, Yoga Nidra is a method that is intended to induce full body relaxation, bringing about an incredible calmness, quietness and clarity to the physical body and subconscious mind.
Yoga Nidra, also known as “conscious sleep” or the “yogic sleep,” is a deep detailed meditation that uses a variety of techniques to aid relaxation and offer balance and healing in the body and mind while remaining aware and awake. The many benefits of yoga Nidra can include better problem solving, improved memory, relief of pain and increased creativity. One hour of Yoga Nidra is equal to 2 – 3 Hours of Deep Sleep.
In this 75 minute workshop we will spend approximately 15 – 20 minutes going over what Yoga Nidra is, how it can help you, and what to expect during a practice. This practice is accessible to anyone, regardless of physical conditions.

All funds raised for this class will benefit the Inspire Wellness Initiative during Giving Hearts Day.
This workshop will be held in the Wellness Education Room at Family Wellness. If this workshop is full due to the limited space or you are not able to attend in person, you can register for the Virtual Live Yoga Nidra Workshop and still partake of the healing benefits.
