#NDSmartRestart Phase 2 Added Services – Court Sports, Group Fitness, Personal Training Timelines

Thank you for doing your part in making Phase 1 of the Family Wellness #NDSmartRestart go so smoothly! As we move forward with opening up additional services, it’s still important the we continue to do what’s made such a big different to this point: 

  • Building hours and fitness center rules will remain the same as they were for Phase 1.
  • Children under age 12 are allowed in the Racquetball or Basketball Courts Only.
  • Member access only (no guest access, including reciprocity visits from partner facilities) 
  • Members will be screened upon entry with questions and temperature reading.
  • Maintain social distancing by keeping 6 ft between you and staff or members.
  • Wipe down equipment before and after each use.
  • Don’t use equipment that is marked closed for social distancing.
  • A limited number of participants will be allowed in the facility at one time.
  • Day lockers are available to members who bring a membership card (no temporary locker cards available).
  • Transactions at the Front Desk are credit card or card on file only. No cash or checks accepted.
  • Members are strongly encouraged to wear a mask in the facility, especially when entering the facility or moving between equipment or activity areas.
  • Please keep visits to 1 hour.
  • Wash hand before and after working out.

Beginning May 26th, Racquetball and Basketball will be available with the following restrictions: 

Basketball
  • 3 hoops will be available by reservation only (north side of the gym).
  • 45 minute reservations are available starting 3 days in advance of the desired booking date. Members can book online or at the Front Desk.
  • Bringing your own ball is strongly encouraged, however, basketballs will be available for check out from the Front Desk (sanitize before and after use required).
  • Limit of 2 players per hoop if from different households OR up to 4 players from the same household (must be on the same membership).
  • Only touch the ball you are playing with – do not catch or throw the ball from another group.
  • Masks are strongly encouraged.
  • Players assume all risk, including COVID-19 exposure.
  • Kids under 12 can use this area as long as they are under supervision of an adult.
Racquetball
  • Only 2 people per court OR a Family/Household (must be on the same membership).
  • 45 minute reservations are available starting 3 days in advance of the desired booking date. Members can book online or at the Front Desk.
  • Bringing your own equipment is strongly encouraged, however, equipment is available for check our from the Front Desk (sanitize before and after use required).
  • Masks are strongly encouraged.

Beginning June 1st, Group Fitness and Personal Training resume with a modified schedule: 

Group Fitness
  • A limited class schedule starting June 1st will be available to preview May 26th. 
  • Class sizes will be limited to 12 participants in Group Fitness Studio 1, and 15 participants in Group Fitness Studio 2. 
  • Members will need to reserve a spot up to 3 days in advance online or at the Front Desk. 
  • Yoga: Participants may use the community mats, but are encouraged to invest in their own mat. The blankets, straps, and bolsters will not be available for use.
  • Participants will be expected to sanitize any equipment used and return it to its designated spot.
  • Towels will not be available for use during class so they must bring their own.
  • Cycling and Aquatics classes will not be available at this time. 
  • The Family Locker Room will be available for bathroom use only (no showers).
Personal Training
  • Trainer availability will be limited (existing clients work with your trainers for scheduling)
  • Masks are strongly encouraged.
  • Trainer lead Circuit classes are not available at this time.
  • Membership referrals that include a personal training component will be subject to availability. 

Areas not available include: 

  • Drop In Childcare 
  • Aquatics Area, including Pools, Sauna, Steam Room, and Whirlpool
  • Men’s and Woman’s Locker Rooms
