5:30am HIIT Bootcamp | Noon MELT METHOD Yoga | 6pm Sport Cycling Challenge: Tour de France 60 | Dine To Donate
Help raise money for the Inspire Wellness Initiative and have some fun with three specialty fitness classes on Giving Tuesday! Each class costs $20 and all proceeds benefit programs to help people cook well, move well and live well for life. Our generous Corporate Sponsor, Bremer Bank, is matching the $20 class fee for every participant (up to $1,000) so you can double your impact and get a great workout! 5:30AM – HIIT Bootcamp | Participants will move through sets of total body high intensity interval training stations. The class will provide a rigorous interval training sequence that consists of short intervals of strength training and cardio exercises followed by an even shorter interval of recovery. It will build cardiovascular fitness while improving muscular strength and endurance. The class will be suitable for beginner to advance, as various intensities and modifications will be demonstrated.
Noon – MELT METHOD Yoga | Take your yoga practice to the next level by incorporating the MELT METHOD to improve alignment, rehydrate the connective tissue, and restore space to your joints. The MELT map will help improve the rounded posture, release restrictions across the chest and around the diaphragm, and lengthen the arm lines to free the wrists and neck. Sense powerful and immediate changes in your ability to move with ease and grace while practicing your yoga poses. Create greater relaxation in the whole body and boost your body’s ability to heal your nervous system.
6:00PM – 7:00PM: Sport Cycling Challenge: Tour de France 60 | Take a chance on yourself and test your metal riding a virtual section of the Tour de France race course. Will it be the Col d’Allos, Tourmalet, or Col de Vars? The route will be determined by race organizers; but it will be a climber’s day, working in and out of the saddle: up, and up, and up. The only thing you need to do is… grit your teeth, keep pedaling and push toward the summit. You don’t need to be a pro to give this challenge a go. But bringing a friend or two might help.
5:00PM to 10:00PM: Dine to Donate at Spicy Pie | Dine to Donate at Spicy Pie on Giving Tuesday where 20% of all proceeds during that time will be donated to the Inspire Wellness Initiative!
Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
