Position Purpose:
Perform a variety of administrative and accounting support functions requiring comprehensive experience, skill, and knowledge of organizational and accounting policies and practices.

 Education, Experience, & Skills (Minimum Requirement):
Bachelor’s Degree in business related field and 2 years of applicable experience in a business, accounting or bookkeeping position.  Oral and written communication skills sufficient to interpret and apply policies and procedures and exceptional customer service experience required.

 JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

  • Verifies reconciliation of tills and cash box and keeps appropriate amounts of cash on hand.
  • Prepares daily deposit
  • Validates data and verifies detailed reports for accuracy and takes independent action to rectify discrepancies
  • Works closely with internal and external customers to resolve any financial errors
  • Following the declined dues policy, notifies customers of billing error and attempt to collect the dues throughout the month.
  • Send overdue membership accounts to collections.
  • Processes and codes invoices and checks for Accounts Payable
  • Prepares invoices to outside entities for monthly billing of Accounts Receivable
  • Prepares and maintains certain schedules for month-end close
  • Assists Business Manager with month-end close entries
  • Data entry of donations
  • Assists with related projects.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
